How it works today

Less time making content. More time caring.

Feeding, cleaning, medication, intake, and care come first. PawPost takes on the repetitive creative work so shelter teams can give more animals a useful social presence without becoming designers.

1. Photos

Choose the pictures adopters will see. They stay on your device.

2. Pet details

Their name and a few lines about them. Everything else is optional.

3. Your post

PawPost renders a 1080 x 1920 card in your browser. Pick a palette, download the PNG, and share it.

In development: platform-specific captions and one-step import from rescue listings. We publish features here when they work, not when they are planned.

The problem behind PawPost

Social media can save lives. Making it takes time shelters do not have.

Dozens of animals can arrive in a single week, each needing food, cleaning, medication, and care. PawPost was built to make the content part lighter: one simple workflow that gives every animal a stronger chance to reach the right person.

“Shelter workers should not have to choose between caring for an animal and helping that animal get seen.”
Why we built PawPost

Responsible integration

How PawPost uses rescue listing data.

PawPost is seeking access to pet listing data for one focused purpose: helping authorized shelter staff and rescue volunteers create accurate promotional content for animals currently available for adoption. Listing import is not live yet, and the policy below describes how we will handle that data when it is.

Read our privacy and data-use summary

Information we process

PawPost may process public pet listing details such as a pet's name, species, breed, age, description, availability, rescue organization, listing URL, and approved listing images. Account holders may also provide their name, email address, organization affiliation, and content they upload. Today the spotlight tool runs entirely in your browser: photos and details you enter are not uploaded or stored by PawPost.

How information is used

Listing information is used to pre-fill the content workflow, generate adoption-focused media, attribute the animal to the source rescue organization, and direct interested adopters back to the official listing. PawPost does not sell pet listing data or use it to build unrelated advertising profiles.

Control and accuracy

Users review generated content before publishing. Source organizations remain authoritative for availability, adoption requirements, and contact details. PawPost is not an adoption marketplace and does not process adoption applications.

Removal and contact

Rescue organizations may request correction or removal of PawPost-hosted content associated with their listings by contacting us. We will investigate verified requests and remove content when appropriate.

  • Purpose limited. Data supports adoption-content creation and links people back to the source listing.
  • Human reviewed. Generated copy is a draft until a user checks and approves it.
  • No data resale. PawPost does not sell or broker rescue listing data.
  • Source respected. Availability and adoption details remain controlled by the listing organization.
